This role is based in our Sydney warehouse in South Granville.\nAbout the role\nAs a Warehouse Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, making sure our customers’ orders are received, packed, and dispatched with care and accuracy. You’ll help us deliver the best experience possible, all while upholding our values of We Care, Be Transparent, FTLA (Fast Test Learn Adapt), Keep It Simple, and Best in Class.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReceive, inspect and store incoming goods correctly and safely.\nPick, pack and dispatch customer orders with precision and efficiency.\nProcess returns and repack resaleable items.\nOperate forklifts, stock pickers and other warehouse equipment (safely and confidently).\nKeep the warehouse tidy, organised and running smoothly.\nSupport stock management through regular stock counts and accurate inventory updates.\nReport discrepancies or damage and suggest improvements to workflows and processes.\nBe proactive about safety and contribute to a positive team environment.\nSkills and Experience:\nHas warehouse or logistics experience (bonus if you’ve worked in e-commerce!).\nHolds a current forklift license (or is willing to obtain one).\nIs safety-minded and follows procedures to a tee.\nHas great attention to detail and is reliable with time and attendance.\nCommunicates clearly, works well with others, and is always up for lending a hand.\nHas a positive, can-do attitude and takes pride in their work.\nExperience in the following is an advantage, however, on the job training will be provided: Gmail, Cin7, Shippit, MS Excel / Google Sheets, Slack\nAble to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment\nProactive approach to complete tasks and lead initiatives\nHeavy lifting is required; however appropriate training is provided, and where necessary, suitable lifting equipment is used\n\nWhy you might enjoy working here\nMiss Amara has been reimagining the rug-buying experience since 2014, combining industry-first technology with a genuine focus on our customers.
