This is a rewarding opportunity to combine people leadership, service delivery and community engagement while contributing to better outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.\nYour key responsibilities will be to:\nLead and support the local team to successfully deliver program requirements, including quality frameworks, program targets, compliance obligations and KPIs.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while contributing specialist advice and support to Mission Australia projects, programs and activities.\nProvide effective and supportive team leadership, including staff training, performance management and recruitment, while ensuring operations comply with the Enterprise Agreement or relevant Award.\nPrepare accurate service reports for the Area Manager and contribute to budget development and management as required.\nRequirements for success\nTo thrive in this role, you will bring:\nDemonstrated experience leading a team within a complex service-delivery environment.\nA relevant degree with experience, or an associate diploma with substantial relevant experience.\nStrong knowledge and practical experience working within the homelessness sector.\nExperience in budget and financial management.\nA genuine commitment to achieving positive community and social outcomes.\nStrong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.\nBefore commencing with us, you will be required to complete a national police history check, qualification and referee checks, and hold the relevant clearance to work with children and/or vulnerable people.\nOur culture\nAt Mission Australia, you’ll be part of an innovative and inclusive culture where your contribution is valued and your work helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of Australians in need.\nWe are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our people and the people we serve.\nWe recognise, value and respect diversity.
