Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.\n The Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving operational excellence across the Engineering organization through process optimization, standardization, waste elimination, and automation initiatives. This role develops engineering workflows, procedures, performance metrics, and governance systems to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability. The position works closely with all engineering functions to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that support business growth.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities:\nThe following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives across engineering functions.\nAnalyze engineering workflows and identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.\nDevelop and maintain engineering procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.\nEstablish engineering KPIs and performance measurement systems.\nFacilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement projects.\nDrive standardization and best practices across engineering teams.\nImplement digital tools, automation, and workflow enhancements.\nLead root cause analysis for process-related issues.\nConduct process audits and maturity assessments.\nSupport organizational transformation and engineering excellence initiatives.\nPrimary Deliverables\nEngineering Process Maps\nStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nEngineering Work Instructions\nKPI Dashboards\nContinuous Improvement Roadmaps\nProcess Audit Reports\nProcess Maturity Assessments\nValue Stream Maps\nRoot Cause Analysis Reports\nProductivity Improvement Plans\nRequired Knowledge/Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.\n5 to 8+ years of engineering, operations, manufacturing, or continuous improvement experience.\nLean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification preferred.\nExperience within ETO manufacturing, electrical equipment, switchgear, or industrial engineering environments preferred.\nStrong analytical and change management skills.\nRequired Skills/Abilities\nContinuous Improvement\nProcess Engineering\nLean Manufacturing\nSix Sigma\nChange Management\nData Analysis\nFacilitation Skills\nOrganizational Development\nWork Environment and Physical Demands\nThe work environment is primarily office-based, with a quiet to moderate noise level and traditional lighting.\nWear the proper PPE when visiting warehouses or transportation facilities.\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer.\nAbility to lift to 15 pounds at times.\nMust be able to travel between MCG locations as needed.
