Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.\n MCG is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee and drive projects that enhance operational performance, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role will manage multiple projects across our manufacturing operations - coordinating resources, schedules, budgets, and communications to ensure successful execution from planning through delivery.\nThe ideal candidate is a proactive and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and consistently delivers results on time and within budget.\nAccountabilities:\nDevelop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables aligned with production goals and business objectives.\nDefine project scope, resource needs, and objectives in collaboration with operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams.\nLead cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment, communication, and timely completion of milestones.\nManage budgets, cost tracking, and procurement activities, ensuring all projects remain financially on target.\nOversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with MCG standards.\nMonitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance and drive continuous improvement.\nAnticipate and mitigate risks by identifying issues early and implementing effective corrective actions.\nCoordinate with manufacturing leadership to minimize production disruptions and optimize resource utilization.\nSupport quality control and assurance processes throughout each project phase.\nConduct post-project evaluations to document lessons learned and implement improvements for future initiatives.\nFoster a culture of safety and ensure all project activities comply with company and OSHA standards.\nOther duties as assigned.\n 3-5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operations environment required.\nHigh school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production scheduling, and equipment installation or modification.\nExperience managing capital projects, vendor coordination, and process improvement initiatives.\nProven ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and deliver projects within financial constraints.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or project management software preferred.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.\nStrong ability to motivate cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability.\nDependable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding MCG’s culture of excellence and continuous improvement.\nDemonstrated ability to promote and maintain a safe working environment.\nValid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.\nAbility to pass a background check and drug screening.\n A Note to our Recruitment Partners: We really appreciate the interest, but MCG currently manages hiring through our internal team.
