This gives them the complete picture and confidence in their financial future.\nDay-to-Day as Tax Manager:\nWork with a high-performing & growth-oriented team\nSpeak your mind, have your voice heard, innovate, and streamline existing processes\nGrow yourself personally and professionally with the support of your team \nWork closely with Wealth Managers and the client base regarding tax/wealth strategies\nResponsible for client relationships and retention; inspiring client confidence through demonstrated expertise; and helping ensure we are meeting deadlines and addressing client questions and needs on an ongoing basis\nWork with peers and leaders to create and present strategic tax planning solutions to high-net-worth clients\nAssist clients with tax-related questions, proformas, estimates, and projections\nManage consulting and tax projects\nReview tax returns\nCommitment to continuing education, team development, training, and mentoring new tax associates\nReview federal and multi-state individual, gift, and trust income tax returns.\nMentor and train tax associates.\nWhat You Bring as Tax Manager:\n8+ years of proven tax accounting experience; previous experience preparing tax returns required\nCPA required\nExperience providing client-centric tax consulting to high-net-worth clients\nStrong research capabilities related to technical matters for complex tax needs and updates to regulations\nMastery of various tax compliance software products \nHighly effective interpersonal, relationship management, and communication skills\nExcellent organizational and time management skills in a high-energy culture to manage priorities\nDemonstrated talent development experience, training new staff, and mentoring interns\nAdvanced understanding of trust taxation\nStrong attention to detail\nJob Type: Full-time, salaried exempt\nLocation: This position is based out of one of our offices in Santa Barbara, Scottsdale, or Houston\nSalary: $150,000 base; plus $50,000 annual bonus paid in quarterly increments\nThis position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.
