( First Shift)\nMajor Responsibilities:\nProgramming: Develop and write code for CNC machines based on technical drawings and design models.\nMachine setup: Determine the appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates for each program.\nTesting and optimization: Run and test programs, then fine-tune them for efficiency and accuracy.\nTroubleshooting: Diagnose and fix problems that arise during the manufacturing process.\nModification: Update and modify existing programs for different machines or production runs.\nQuality assurance: Ensure the finished parts meet precise specifications and maintain quality standards.\nMinimum requirements:\nBlueprint reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.\n Mastercam software proficiency: Experience using CNC programming software is essential.\nMachining knowledge: A strong understanding of machining processes, materials, tooling, and machine speeds/feed rates.\nExperience: Hands-on experience with CNC machines, often gained from working as a machine operator.\nMISTRAS Group, Inc. is committed to equal employment opportunity.
