The Operations Manager will also maintain a high functioning employee base through solid HR practices and safety education and awareness programs.\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:\nGeneral Functions:\nManage daily activities and costs associated within department.\nSupervise individuals within the Operations Support Department as it relates to projects and responding to calls from customers (branches) requesting technical assistance.\nProblem solving and providing clear, supported and concise recommendation to management.\nUtilization of key performance indicators to increase customer value.\nResponsible for division Profit and Loss statements and economic performance.\nServe as back up to the General Manager in their absence or upon request.\nReview and approve expense reports submitted by technical support staff.\nProperly complete all required forms and paperwork.\nProvide administrative office assistance as needed.\nEquipment/Vehicles:\nEnsure proper use of all company resources; including tools, equipment and vehicles.\nOversee maintenance of shop and equipment.\nSafety:\nEnsure required training for field and supervisory personnel on safety, policies and procedures.\nEvaluate job safety to include all aspects of job performance for all service lines.\nCustomer/Project Manager Support:\nServe as liaison with customers to estimate and quote project work.\nCoordinate and schedule work crews to cover customer requirements and requests.\nCoordinate schedules of AVS Technicians per customer demands.\nAdditional Requirements:\nComplete all required training, and testing, within company guidelines.\nKnowledge of all company products and services that is available to our customers.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\n2-3 years of management experience in the nondestructive testing (NDT) or related field\nStrong knowledge of nondestructive testing.\nStrong communication skills to promote good team environment\nSales and/or marketing experience a plus\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:\nFrequent lifting up to 30 lbs.\n$120k - $140k DOE\nCompensation & Benefits\nMistras offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including:\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) retirement plan\nAdditional full time employee benefits\nMISTRAS Group, Inc. is committed to equal employment opportunity.
