This will give you a profile that you can use for all future applications, and you will be notified whenever a new position that matches your criteria becomes available.\n\nOverview\n\nAs a Platform Admin & Developer, be responsible for all activities related to BODS and BoBJ\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPlatform Administration (BO & BODS)\n\nInstallation & Configuration: Perform full installations, patching, updates, and configuration of SAP BusinessObjects (BI 4.x) and BODS (4.x) and 2025 platforms exclusively on Windows Server operating systems.\nSecurity & User Management: Manage users, groups, folders, and access levels using the Central Management Console (CMC) and Data Services Management Console.\nRepository & Server Management: Create and configure local, central, and secure BODS repositories. Configure Job Servers, Job Server groups, and load-balancing environments.\nLifecycle Management: Handle content migrations, promotions, and deployments across Development, QA, and Production environments using Promotion Management/Lifecycle Manager.\nMonitoring & Backup: Proactively monitor system performance, server logs, audit logs, and system metrics. Define and validate failover, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.\n\nSap Bods\n\nWeb Services Integration: Integrate external systems by generating and consuming both SOAP and REST Web Services natively through BODS. Configure Web Service Datastores and handle XML/JSON hierarchical data payloads. Configure iDOCs and extract data using iDOCs from SAP ECC\nDesign and develop ETL jobs using SAP BODS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources (SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)\nImplement delta loads, data cleansing, and transformation logic\nAdvanced ETL Logic: Utilize scripts, local/global variables, custom functions, substitutions, and Change Data Capture (CDC) methods.\nOptimize dataflows for performance and scalability.Build robust recovery mechanisms, automated retry logic, and detailed system error tracking for automated batch jobs.\nIntegrate with cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS) as needed\nMonitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs and resolve data quality issues\nProactively analyze existing ETL designs to identify inefficiencies or faulty logic and recommend improvements.\nEnsure high performance and reliability of dataflows through tuning and optimization techniques\n\nSap Bobj\n\nDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards using Web Intelligence, Analysis for Office and Analysis Edition for OLAP\nCreate and manage Universes using Information Design Tool (IDT)\nWork with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions\nEnsure data accuracy and consistency across reports\nCollaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other IT/Business teams\nDocument technical specifications, data mappings, and job schedules\nParticipate in code reviews and performance tuning\nProvide support for production issues and enhancements\n\nGeneral\n\nCollaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other IT/Business teams\nDocument technical specifications, data mappings, and job schedules\nParticipate in code reviews and performance tuning\nProvide support for production issues and enhancements\n\nRequirements\n\nMust have bachelor's or equivalent degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience\nSAP BODS 4.x / BOBJ 4.x /2025\nSQL/Python\nExperienced in using ABAP flows from ERP/S4\nExperienced in working with SAP BW/HANA data models\nShould be open to work in US Time zone\n\nAdditional Skills (Advantageous)\n\nSAP BW on HANA/Datasphere\nSAC\nTableau\nSnowflake\nSAC\n\nTo ensure our hiring process is fair, efficient, and transparent, we want to inform all applicants that we may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, including third party tools to screen resumes and match candidates to job opportunities based on their skills and experience.
