fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Back - End Developer (Experienced Candidates) \n\nLocation: Ikeja, Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nJob Description\n\nThe ideal candidate must have successfully developed and deployed at least one live, production-ready system.\nWe are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong technical skills and practical experience building, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.\nMaintain technical documentation, write automated tests, and follow software development best practices.\nCollaborate with frontend developers, product designers, and other team members to deliver functional solutions.\nIdentify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and system vulnerabilities.\nImplement appropriate authentication, authorisation, and data protection measures.\nDevelop and maintain backend services using Python and Django.\nDeploy applications to production environments and provide ongoing maintenance and technical support.\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications.\nBuild and manage RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services where required.\nDesign, manage, and optimise databases using MySQL and other relevant database technologies.\n\nRequirements\n\nPractical experience with MySQL, including database design, queries, optimisation, and management.\nDemonstrable experience developing, deploying, and maintaining live systems in a production environment.\nStrong proficiency in Python and Django.\nExperience with Git or other version control systems.\nKnowledge of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.\nGood understanding of RESTful API design, integration, and documentation.\nUnderstanding of web application security, authentication, authorisation, and data validation.\nMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development.\nAbility to troubleshoot technical issues and work independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\nKnowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment automation.\nFamiliarity with Linux server administration, Nginx, and application server configuration.\nFamiliarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, or other database and caching technologies.\nExperience working with Agile development methodologies.\nA portfolio of deployed applications or contributions to relevant software projects.\nExperience with additional backend frameworks or technologies.\nUnderstanding of application monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and system scalability.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.\nExperience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.\n\nHow to
