Join our global team and see what makes Mitratech a truly exceptional place to work!\nJob Overview \nWe’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our General Ledger team. You’ll own a meaningful portion of the month-end close, support financial reporting across a multi-entity structure, and be a key resource during our annual audit. This role sits at the intersection of technical accounting and operational execution. You’ll apply US GAAP rigorously while also helping us build better processes. You’ll report directly to the GL Manager and collaborate across Accounting and Finance.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nOwn month-end close tasks end-to-end: preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining GL schedules, and reconciling key accounts.\nSupport accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.\nContribute to monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and responding to questions from business partners.\nSupport the annual audit: preparing schedules, fielding auditor inquiries, and ensuring documentation is audit-ready.\nAssist with M&A integration reporting and technical accounting for acquisition transactions.\nHelp maintain up-to-date accounting policies and standard operating procedures.\nDrive process improvement by identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and implementing better tools and controls.\nHandle ad hoc reporting requests and special projects as they arise.\nRequirements & Skills:\n5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant role.\nCPA or CPA eligible preferred.\nStrong working knowledge of US GAAP.\nHands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.\nAdvanced Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities across a multi-entity close cycle and M&A activity.\nStrong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.\nWe will disclose intended pay ranges in our job ads for US-based opportunities - This role can be performed 100% remote anywhere in the US.
