We are seeking a talented professional to join our leadership team for this Bedford-based hybrid position. Our department is responsible for delivering an advancing MITRE’s cyber threat intelligence and adversary emulation expertise across all of MITRE’s private and public sector sponsors.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nStaff-Management: Provide day-to-day administrative management for 8-10 people. As required, drive recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for the group. Communicate regularly with group members to ensure well-being, engagement, and job satisfaction. \nCareer Development: Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance for group members to grow them in their careers and help them be impactful contributors. Act as an advocate for training, project placement, and work-based skill development. \nPerformance Management: Seek information and feedback on group members' performance and recommend corrective/development action when needed. Conduct annual performance assessments and regular clear conversations. \nQuality Management: Promote a culture of quality, excellence, teamwork, staff development, continued learning, innovation, evaluation, and benchmarking to ensure continuous improvement within the department and on all aspects of the department's work program. \nLeadership Team Engagement: Provide leadership and collaborate with the Department Manager, Chief Engineer, Capability Leads, and other Group Leads in the collaborative process of steering the department, and function as a part of the Department Management Team; back up for Department Manager as required/needed; and ensure L512 staff understand the division and department strategy and direction. \nGL Addendum\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience; or the equivalent combination of higher education and/or real-world experience\nDemonstrated ability to work with department leadership to create an effective team. \nDemonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor staff. \nExcellent written and oral communication skills \nAbility to collaborate, network and negotiate across matrixed teams, departments, and divisions. \nExperience solving complex cyber operations challenges\nThis position requires a minimum of 3 days a week on site\nMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S Government issued Security Clearance.
