We apply new technologies that can address the Government's most challenging Systems Engineering problems. This is an opportunity for experienced program managers who are highly motivated, innovative, and proactive in their work to enable the rest of MITRE and Sponsors.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nServe as the Program Manager for the Federal AI Sandbox program, leading planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, operational oversight, and reporting to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.\nManage acquisition-related activities across the full lifecycle, including requirements definition, planning, coordination, schedule management, risk management, implementation oversight, and transition to operations for High Performance Computing capabilities.\nServe as a central point of coordination for sponsor and integrator engagement activities related to HPC, AI, and mission-enabling technology programs.\nDevelop and maintain integrated program schedules, milestone tracking, action item logs, risk registers, and status reporting.\nPrepare executive-level briefings, sponsor communications, and decision support materials for leadership and external stakeholders.\nCoordinate across internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical, operational, and programmatic dependencies are understood and managed.\nMonitor program performance, identify risks and issues early, and drive mitigation plans to maintain cost, schedule, and mission objectives.\nSupport financial planning, resource coordination, and prioritization across multiple related workstreams.\nBasic Qualifications:\nTypically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex technical programs or large-scale technology initiatives.\nExperience supporting acquisition, deployment, or modernization of enterprise infrastructure, HPC environments, data center capabilities, or similarly complex technical systems.\nStrong understanding of program management disciplines including scope, schedule, risk, stakeholder management, and status reporting.\nExperience coordinating across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.\nDemonstrated ability to engage effectively with government sponsors, senior leaders, technical staff, and operational stakeholders.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive briefings and sponsor-facing materials.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, coordinate detailed logistics, and maintain strong execution discipline.\nMust have an active Secret U.S Government issued Security Clearance.
