You canmonitoryour application status here: Workday (myworkdayjobs.com).\nJob Responsibilities\nAs a Systems Engineering Intern, you will join a dynamic team and will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge while gaining hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:\nDigital and Model-Based Engineering\n\nMission and Systems of Systems Engineering\n\nAI-Enabled Systems Engineering\n\nAgile Systems Engineering\n\nSystems Security Engineering\n\nMechanical Engineering (Structural Analysis, Thermal Dynamics)\n\nAerospace Engineering\n\nBasic Qualifications\nMust be a student enrolled full-time pursuing an accredited degree seeking program in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering,Physicsor a related degree program.\n\nMust continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.\n\nFoundational knowledge of systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or physics methodologies, frameworks,toolsand/or programming languages.\n\nMust have sustained excellence in academic performance.\n\nThis position has an on-site requirement of 3 days a week minimum\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience having applied systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering orphysics learningto an internship,researchor lab setting.\n\nProficiencyusing systems engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or physics methodologies, frameworks,toolsand/or programming languages.\n\nProven ability to work independently.\n\nDemonstrated interest in serving the public throughpreviouswork experience, volunteer activities, or other relevant engagements.\n\nClearance: In addition to passing MITRE’s employment background check, you may besubmittedfor a U.S. Government Security clearance. This isdeterminedby the Department of Defense’s adjudicative guidelines for receiving a clearance, to include U.S. citizenship.
