demonstrate practical, hands-on experience across the following areas:\nWindows Server and Active Directory administration, including GPO, DNS and DHCP\nMicrosoft 365, Entra ID and Intune, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive\nVMware vSphere / ESXi or an equivalent enterprise virtualisation environment\nNetwork infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi and VPNs\nBackup, disaster recovery and infrastructure monitoring\nIT security and endpoint protection, including Microsoft Defender and vulnerability remediation\nL2/L3 technical support and troubleshooting of complex infrastructure, system, network and endpoint issues\nParticipation in IT projects, migrations and infrastructure deployments\nExperience coordinating with Group IT, external IT service providers and technical vendors\nWe are looking for someone who has personally administered and troubleshot these environments, rather than having only general exposure to the technologies.\nThe successful candidate should be able to work independently, take ownership of the local IT infrastructure and users, and collaborate effectively with Group IT to implement standards, resolve technical issues and continuously improve the local IT environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSystems & Infrastructure\nAdminister and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.\nManage and maintain VMware vSphere / ESXi environments.\nPerform system upgrades, patching, monitoring and infrastructure maintenance.\nManage backup and disaster recovery solutions and perform regular recovery tests.\nMicrosoft 365 & Endpoints\nAdminister Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.\nManage Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.\nManage user devices through Microsoft Intune, including configuration, security, compliance and lifecycle management.\nNetwork & Security\nMaintain and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi and VPNs.\nImplement local IT security controls in line with Group IT standards.\nSupport Microsoft Defender, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation and access controls.\nInvestigate and resolve infrastructure and security incidents, escalating critical issues to Group IT when required.\nTechnical Support\nProvide L2/L3 technical support to users.\nTroubleshoot complex server, system, network, application and endpoint issues.\nManage incidents and service requests and ensure timely resolution.\nMaintain technical documentation, procedures and infrastructure records.\nProjects & IT Improvement\nSupport IT migrations, infrastructure deployments and technology projects.\nImplement Group IT systems, standards and security initiatives locally.\nIdentify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, security and user experience.\nCoordinate with Group IT and external IT service providers when
