In the process, you will have exciting opportunities to develop your skills, expand your network, and build your career.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nParticipate in all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoot technical problems as needed.\nDesign, develop, deploy, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platform according to changing requirements and following established processes and procedures.\nLead in designing, developing, coding, and/or enhancing applications, features, infrastructure and/or application frameworks.\nBuild and develop REST APIs and SOAP Services to integrate with other systems.\nProvide guidance and technical instruction to junior level engineers.\nTest, debug, and/or oversee the testing and validation of applications to ensure that quality and functionality are in line with the requirements, as well as industry security standards and protocols. \nResolve production defects within defined SLA.\nJob Requirements:\nBachelors’ Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.\nMinimum 2-5 years of developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services, and back end/database)\nExperience leading and mentoring technical teams developing and supporting modern web-based applications.\nBachelors’ Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science and Software Engineering.\nExperience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.\nMinimum 2-4 years of developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services, and back end/database)\nExperience leading and mentoring technical teams developing and supporting modern web-based applications.\nExperience with C#, .NET Framework, .Net Core, WebSphere MQ, and Entity Framework\nExperience with Web application deployment and IIS (Internet Information services)\nExperience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs\nExperience with Angular, jQuery, or similar framework.\nAdvanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines\nExperience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Load Balancer\nExperience in designing data models and structures to store various kinds of data in different formats.\nExperience with RDBMS based database such as SQL Server.\nExperience with monitoring systems e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace\nExperience with agile development processes and practices (e.g., Scrum)\nKnowledgeable in virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)\nKnowledgeable in DevOps workflow tool including Azure DevOps Services (ADO)\nKnowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)\nAbility to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.\nProven ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously, adhere to tight deadlines and adapt to change priorities.\nGood communication and written skills\nMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
