A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.\nJob Summary:\nReporting to the Head of Operations Business Solutions, this position has been created for the purpose of expanding Global Financial Crimes Division (GFCD) Operations capabilities for MUFG.\nOne of several key positions in the GFCD Operations function, this position will be responsible for driving business solutions, managing GFCD and International Compliance initiatives that drive strategic change, improve operational efficiency, optimize processes, and deliver continuous improvement through innovative solutions.\nThe incumbent is responsible for supporting leadership to ensure operations business solutions are executed successfully and further mitigate potential financial crime and compliance risks.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nLead delivery of complex global initiatives aligned with strategic goals.\nCollaborate with senior executives and stakeholders across the globe to define the scope of effort, deliverables, dependencies, resource requirements and timing.\nCreate and manage plans to successfully deliver the scope of the initiative.\nDevelop, manage and facilitate governance routines as needed for execution.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful execution.\nLead cross-functional teams to successfully implement initiatives on time, managing risks, escalating issues when needed and clearly defining roles and responsibilities.\nSynthesize large amounts of information and conduct detailed analysis and documentation of current business operations and processes.\nIdentify areas for improvement and develop viable solutions to optimize operations, streamline processes, enhance efficiency and further mitigate risks.\nCreate and present clear, concise senior executive presentations of current state operations, proposed solutions/recommendations and progress.\nIdentify and propose new initiatives to management.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nPartner with senior leadership to manage regulatory exams, audits, and audit Issues as they arise on the team.\nTeam Lead for two offshore team members in India.\nResponsible for managing offshoring governance meetings with senior stakeholders, reporting, inter-affiliate agreements, business continuity plans, invoicing, supporting new joiners in India and hiring in India.\nQualifications:\nProven success leading and driving global, high profile, complex, cross functional business solutions.\nCollaborative with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact and work with cross functional teams at all management levels across the globe.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while delivering on time.\nExcellent leadership and executive level influencing skills.\nAbility to operate under pressure, with urgency, prioritize work accordingly and manage to tight deadlines.\nStrong decision-making skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement.\nDemonstrated ability to drive change across large, global, matrixed organizations.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to quickly ramp up on content areas.\nOutstanding attention to detail, accuracy and quality.\nAbility to develop well-structured, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for senior executive audiences.\nAbility to work autonomously and initiate and prioritize own work.\nHighly motivated, proactive, organized and positive individual.\nOutstanding communication (written and verbal) and executive level presentation skills.\nAbility to pivot frequently, adapt to change and create order from ambiguity.\nAbility to balance regulatory requirements with the best interests of the Bank and its customers.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint).\nProven success managing regulatory exams, internal audits and open Issues.\n5-7 years’ experience of transformation management or change management experience and/or;\n5+ years of financial industry, consulting, financial crime compliance experience and/or;\n5+ years of reengineering and/or process improvement experience;\n3+ years of team lead and/or people management experience.\nAdditional skills a plus\nExperience working in a large international organization is preferred.\nBanking and/or consulting experience preferred.\n4-year university degree preferred.\nACAMS certification a plus.\nExperience interfacing with banking regulators and enforcement staff preferred.\nUnderstanding of an effective financial crimes risk management framework a plus.\nundefined\nThe typical base pay range for this role is $122,000 to $8166,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
