What you'll do:

As an Interest Rates Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting financial market products-especially rates derivatives-to corporate banking clients across Australia. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building trusted relationships with clients by providing insightful market updates and tailored product recommendations. You will collaborate extensively with Relationship Managers and other departments within the bank to deliver seamless transactions that exceed client expectations. By staying abreast of industry developments and regulatory requirements, you will ensure that all activities are conducted within established frameworks. Success in this role requires a commitment to delivering extraordinary service, maintaining strong stakeholder management both internally and externally, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere where knowledge sharing is encouraged.

  • Promote the bank’s suite of products and services-including Foreign Exchange and Derivatives-to Japanese and global corporate banking clients by leveraging your market expertise.

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new opportunities in partnership with Relationship Managers to achieve revenue targets.

  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients, enhancing the bank’s reputation through thoughtful communication and seamless transaction support.

  • Collaborate with various departments such as Operations, Global MarketsFX Sales, Corporate and Investment BankOceania and Asia Global Markets Departmentto ensure smooth execution of client transactions.

  • Support all relevant departments by sharing market-related information, product specifications, operational procedures, and insights into client demand for products.
