This means investing in talent, technologies, and tools that empower you to own your career.\nJoin MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded.\nAbout the Role\nPosition Title : SQL Developer\nCorporate Title: Analyst\nInternal Title : Senior Analyst\nReporting to : MGS Vice President\nExperience : 6-8 years\nLocation : MGS - Bengaluru\nJob Profile\nPosition details\nPurpose: To enhance the existing risk reporting data warehouses, tools and technologies.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nResponsibilities will include:\nContribute to the design and development of efficient data models, schemas and pipelines\nWrite complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions to extract, transform and load data\nOptimize query performance to ensure data integrity and consistency\nProviding database technology subject matter expertise, collaborating with risk stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions\nImplement data security measures and access controls aligned with firm’s governance policies\nMonitor and troubleshoot data pipelines; identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions\nParticipate in code reviews and document change made in the required format\nImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment and monitoring of data solutions\nJob Requirements:\nBachelors’ Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.\nEssential\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL including stored procedures, views, triggers and functions\nSolid knowledge of data warehousing principles, dimensional modelling and star schema design\nExperience working with large data warehouses including performance tuning, query optimization and execution plan analysis\nFamiliarity with data integration tools (SSIS, ADF) and techniques (ELT, ETL)\nStrong handon SSIS development experience.\nHands-on experience with reporting tools such as SSRS and Power BI.\nPreferred\nFamiliarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Powershell) for data processing and automation\nExperience of working with risk systems within a financial institution\nExperience with multiple database platforms e.g. SQL Server, Oracle and SnowFlake\nExperience of using Control-M or similar orchestration tools\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.\nPersonal Requirements:\nCandidates from Banking firm or asscoiated with banking projects will be considered.\nExcellent communication & interpersonal skills\nA proactive, motivated approach. \nThe ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordingly managing large workloads and tight deadlines\nStrong decision making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgement\nA calm approach, with the ability to perform well in a pressurised environment\nMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
