Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around managing the Dynatrace SaaS platform, ensuring it is configured for maximum effectiveness and acting as the go-to expert for observability strategy. Your ability to mentor others will foster knowledge sharing across operational teams while your focus on automation will drive efficiency improvements throughout the organisation.\nAdminister and manage the Dynatrace SaaS platform including configuration, tenant administration, access controls, user roles, management zones, monitoring policies, and data retention settings.\nMaintain monitoring standards by developing tagging strategies, naming conventions, governance frameworks and ensuring effective observability across all technology layers.\nAct as the primary technical authority for Dynatrace capabilities and roadmap development while engaging with vendor support teams to resolve platform-related issues.\nDesign, implement, and optimise monitoring solutions using Dynatrace SaaS covering infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring (APM), distributed tracing, real user monitoring (RUM), synthetic monitoring, log management and analytics.\nDevelop meaningful dashboards, alerting rules, management zones, reporting capabilities and service views that support proactive service management.\nLead the migration of monitoring capabilities from legacy platforms including IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM), Netcool Omnibus (NOI), and other enterprise solutions; assess existing configurations for rationalisation and modernisation.\nSupport decommissioning of legacy event management platforms by developing migration plans and onboarding approaches for new services.\nProvide technical support for Dynatrace platform including incident response, problem resolution and change management activities; participate in major incident investigations offering performance analysis expertise.\nIntegrate monitoring platforms with service management tools such as ServiceNow; develop automation capabilities using Dynatrace APIs and workflow functionality.\nDefine platform standards by maintaining documentation, architecture diagrams and support procedures; identify opportunities for continuous improvement through automation and enhanced monitoring practices.\nWhat you bring:\nTo excel as Vice President Systems Monitoring Observability & Technical Lead at MUFG you will bring deep practical experience managing enterprise-grade observability platforms, particularly Dynatrace SaaS, in environments where reliability is paramount.
