This role exists because we need sharp, hungry individuals we can develop into world-class ERP Software Developers.\n\nJob Summary\n\nEmployer: mjgroup\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nLocation: Harare, Zimbabwe\n\nCategory: Software Development\n\nClosing Date: 2026-10-24\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLearn the Odoo ERP platform across core business modules: Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Purchasing, and HR\n\nShadow senior consultants on live client projects and take structured notes on business requirements\n\nAssist in configuring, testing, and validating Odoo environments for client deployments\n\nDocument bugs, gaps, and system behaviour with precision and clarity\n\nBuild small automation scripts and internal tools under supervision\n\nTranslate client business requirements into functional system configurations and designs\n\nDevelop and customize Odoo modules under technical supervision\n\nIntegrate Odoo with third-party platforms and external APIs\n\nWrite technical and user documentation that non-technical clients can follow and act on\n\nSupport clients through go-live and post-implementation stabilization\n\nParticipate in business process mapping sessions with clients\n\nLead implementation workstreams independently on smaller client projects\n\nConduct operational audits to identify business bottlenecks and inefficiencies\n\nApply data analysis and operations research thinking to optimize client workflows\n\nContribute to pre-sales technical scoping and solution proposals\n\nSupport and mentor incoming junior team members\n\nRequirements\n\nA certificate , degree or diploma in relevant field\n\nAny self-taught coding, online certifications, or technical projects will be considered show us what you built or learned on your own\n\nFluent in English written and spoken.
