Operator will be responsible for the machining, cleaning, and inspection of his or her own work. In this role, you will report to the Operations Supervisor.\nYou will make an impact by:\nEnsure correct machine operation (change inserts, tool holders, skim jaws, etc.)\nConduct random inspection of parts to ensure conformity to required specifications including visual inspection with the use of a microscope with attention to detail\nDeburr and clean parts\nAccurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets\nResolve and communicate problems/issues to the supervisor\nPerform a variety of other repetitive tasks\nPerform other duties as assigned, to maintain efficiency and a clean and safe work environment\nSkills you bring:\nHigh School or Trade School diploma\nWork 3:40pm - 12:10am, Monday - Friday\n1+ years CNC machine operator experience\nMust be able to monitor tool wear and make dimensional adjustments (offsets)\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints\nAbility to use measuring instruments such as Caliper and Micrometers\nPhysical Demands & Working Conditions:\nPerform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time\nRegularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination\nOccasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 pounds\nAbility to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time\nFrequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level\nRegularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level\nMust be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand\nMust be able to exchange accurate information\nOperates in a manufacturing environment\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery\nAbility to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)\nDedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat\nNoise level in the work environment is usually average\nCompensation and Benefits:\nPay Range: $22.50 - 37.50 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
