A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Inspector at MKS Corporation, you will partner with operation, Engineering, Internal Teams, Sales, Customers, etc. to conduct process audit & inspection of tools & products. In this role, you will report to Sr. Quality Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Using written procedures performdaily inspection of incoming material and document results. Move conforming material to the stockroom. Move nonconforming material to the MRB area

  • Support MRB activities. Move dispositioned material to the proper area. Complete and process necessary documentation

  • Perform detailed first article inspections when requiredand document results

  • Interface with appropriate parties, as directed, to address issues noted

  • Use computer terminals and networked PCsto access various programs such as the catalog parts book, purchase order information, and part ship-to-stock status

Skills You Bring:

  • Experience using inspection tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, drop indicators, radius gauges, gage blocks, height gauges, and digital multimeters

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Ability to read blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, for the items listed in the job summary

  • Maintain accuraterecords of inspection activity, including part history records, nonconformance reports, and ship-to-stock requests

  • Work with a minimum of supervision and effectively handle multiple tasks concurrently

  • Maintain a professional working relationship with internal customers

  • Ability to lift material up to 50 pounds

  • Good knowledge of measurement accuracy,measurement terminology.

  • Theory and operation of CMM Coordinate Measuring Machine preferred. CMM programming experience a plus

  • Strong computer skillsrequire theability to navigate multiple systemto obtain drawings, and enter data

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $22.50 - 37.50 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
