In this role, you will report to the Director of Global Logistics.\nYou Will Make an Impact By:\nResponsible for managing global transportation operations, carrier relationships, freight spend and mode optimization to ensure cost-effective and reliable movement of goods. This role focuses on transportation strategy, carrier performance, freight procurement, and logistics network efficiency.\nManage relationships with freight forwarders, parcel, LTL and couriers.\nOversee carrier sourcing, bid events and rate management.\nLead freight payment processes and freight audit programs to ensure billing accuracy and cost control.\nAnalyze transportation spend and identify cost-savings opportunities.\nDevelop and execute mode optimization strategies balancing cost, service and transit time requirements\nMonitor carrier performance thru KPI's including on-time delivery, claims ratios, capacity utilization and service reliability.\nCollaborate with procurement, planning, customer service, and operations teams to support transportation requirements.\nAttend quarterly business reviews with carriers and logistics service providers.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to freight operations and transportation execution.\nEvaluate network routing opportunities and transportation efficiency initiatives.\nSkills you bring:\n5+ years of global transportation and logistics experience\n3+ years managing teams or leading cross-functional logistics initiatives\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field\nStrong expertise in multi-mode transportation, carrier management, and freight procurement\nSolid analytical and financial acumen, including transportation cost analysis and budgeting\nDemonstrated ability to drive logistics cost savings and operational improvements\nExperience managing carrier performance, KPIs, and service level agreements\nProven ability to collaborate across functions to support supply chain and customer requirements\nStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement\nAbility to travel as needed (approximately 10-25%)\n Preferred Skills:\nDemonstrated experience collaborating across supply chain, operations, and customer-facing teams\nExperience leading, mentoring, or influencing team members in a matrixed environment\nExposure to change management initiatives within logistics or transportation operations\nProficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query)\nFamiliarity with freight audit and payment systems or transportation management systems (TMS)\nExperience developing and tracking KPIs to measure transportation performance\nAbility to analyze freight spend and identify optimization opportunities\nWorking knowledge of mode selection strategies and transportation conversion analysis\nWe are interested in a qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
