In this role, you will report to the Sr. Supervisor of Manufacturing Engineering.\nYou Will Make an Impact By:\nAnalyze existing systems and processes and identify value-added and non-value-added activities to solve design challenges.\nConceive, design, develop, and test innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives.\nContribute to resolving quality and efficiency issues at the component level.\nImplementation and Control of Manufacturing Documents (Work Instructions, Tool Drawings, Process Drawings, etc.).\nEstimate manufacturing cost, review/update time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.\nEvaluate new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as an input for scheduling methods, performance metrics, and financial standards.\nUphold the company’s reputation by delivering innovative solutions while adhering to local and national regulations.\nManage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects.\nSkills You Bring:\nBachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of related experience.\nIn-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Promote Safety and Lean Continuous Improvement.\nProficiency with analytical tools, workflow time studies, and process balancing.\nAbility to collaborate with Design engineers, program managers, manufacturing leads, and functional leads.\nAdvanced experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.\nStrong communication, listening, and collaboration skills.\nKnowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Tool/Fixture Design. Experience with Oracle and Agile.\nUnderstanding of Product Engineering, Product Design Reviews and ECR/ECO systems, BOM structure and Engineering Documentation.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with Tubular Components and CNC Machining preferred. CNC programming a plus.\nFamiliar with TIG welding and Orbital welding. Interest in robotics for manufacturing.\nUnderstand principles of DFM and DFA.\nExperience with 3D printing.\nExperience with Mechanical Assembly.\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions:\nMay require manual dexterity and coordination of objects in normal range.\nOccasionally may move or position objects up to 40 lbs.\nMust be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.\nMust be able to exchange accurate information.\nOperates in a professional office and manufacturing environment.\nDedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling mechanical hardware.\nNoise level in the work environment is usually average.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nSalary Pay Range: $80,000 to $110,000 per year.
