This role will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to build scalable, resilient, and secure integrations leveraging Kubernetes, AWS integration services, healthcare interoperability standards, and modern DevOps practices.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-native technologies, API integrations, containerized environments, and healthcare data exchange standards such as X12, HL7, and FHIR. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale integration platforms while expanding expertise in cloud architecture, automation, observability, and service mesh technologies.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain cloud-based integration solutions using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.\nBuild and support integrations leveraging AWS integration services and related cloud capabilities.\nDevelop healthcare interoperability solutions utilizing X12, HL7, and FHIR standards.\nSupport continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) initiatives using Argo CD and modern deployment methodologies.\nImplement and maintain observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility using Datadog or similar platforms.\nConfigure telemetry, centralized logging, distributed tracing, and performance monitoring across integration services.\nSupport the implementation and management of service mesh technologies such as Istio to enhance security, resilience, and traffic management.\nCollaborate with software engineers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and operations personnel to establish reusable integration frameworks and best practices.\nTroubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production incidents.\nSupport enterprise API development and distributed system integrations.\nMaintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.\nParticipate in application releases, testing, validation, and production support activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience\nMinimum of 2 years of experience developing cloud-based integrations utilizing Kubernetes.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience with AWS integration services and cloud-native architectures.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience implementing healthcare interoperability solutions using X12, HL7, and FHIR standards.\nExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD or similar deployment platforms.\nExperience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or comparable solutions.\nExperience implementing telemetry, logging, tracing, and monitoring within distributed systems.\nExperience working with service mesh technologies such as Istio.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong understanding of cloud integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and distributed system architecture.\nKnowledge of container orchestration platforms and Kubernetes administration concepts.\nFamiliarity with hybrid cloud environments and enterprise integration architectures.\nExperience with logging, tracing, alerting, and operational monitoring best practices.\nKnowledge of enterprise integration platforms and scalable integration services.\nUnderstanding of security principles and secure integration practices within cloud environments.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure automation and deployment workflows.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments.\nKnowledge of healthcare data exchange and interoperability standards.\nFamiliarity with AWS cloud services and cloud security best practices.\nExperience supporting enterprise integration platforms at scale.\nExposure to Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps environments.\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate across cross-functional technical teams.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nWillingness to learn emerging technologies and cloud integration patterns.\nWhy Join MKS2?\nAt MKS2, you'll work alongside talented engineers delivering innovative cloud and integration solutions that support critical business and mission requirements.
