Please take a moment to browse through our website and learn more about what it means to serve with MKS2.\nContract Manager \nArmy Training Products | Training Management Directorate (TMD)\nLocation: Fort Leavenworth, KS\nExperience Level: Senior\nClearance: Active Secret required\nPosition Summary\nMKS2 Technologies is seeking experienced Army training and operations professionals to serve as a Contract Manager supporting the Army Training Products mission at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.\nThese positions will provide leadership and oversight for personnel supporting the development and sustainment of critical Army training products, including Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS), Army Training and Evaluation Program (ARTEP) products, Standard Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs), and other Army training-readiness requirements.\nThe ideal candidate will bring extensive Army operational and training experience, a strong understanding of the Army Training Management process, and experience working at the Battalion or Brigade level.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide day-to-day leadership and management of personnel supporting Army training-product development and sustainment.\nServe as a primary management interface with Government leadership.\nManage team priorities, schedules, deliverables, resource requirements, risks, and overall contract execution.\nOversee development and sustainment activities involving CATS, ARTEP/Mission Training Plans, Standard METLs, and related Army training products.\nEnsure work aligns with Army training-management doctrine, applicable TRADOC guidance, contract requirements, and quality standards.\nCoordinate with TMD, Army proponents, operational organizations, and other Army and Joint stakeholders.\nMonitor performance and proactively address risks affecting schedule, staffing, quality, or technical execution.\nParticipate in Government meetings, In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), working groups, conferences, and technical discussions.\nSupport the development of work plans, status reports, briefings, technical documentation, and contract deliverables.\nMaintain a strong, responsive, and mission-focused relationship with Government stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive Secret security clearance at the time of response.\n Bachelor’s degree in any field OR graduate of military professional education equivalent to:Command and General Staff College (CGSC)\nSergeant Majors Academy\nArmy-specific specialty course\n\n5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:Military planning\nTraining\nOperations\nLogistics\nIntelligence\nForce design/development\nCapability development\nTraining development\n\nExperience serving on a Battalion- or Brigade-level staff in an operations position.\nExperience serving as part of the Command Team of a Battalion-level or higher organization, or previous experience managing proponent CATS requirements.\nDemonstrated knowledge of the Army Training Management process.\nWorking knowledge of Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS) development in accordance with TRADOC Pamphlet 350-70-1.\nWorking knowledge of:Digital Training Management System (DTMS)\n ATMS Development Tool\nArmy Training Network (ATN)\n\nBranch-qualified Army experience.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to lead teams and coordinate complex requirements across military, Government, and contractor stakeholders.\nPreferred Experience\nCandidates will be particularly competitive with previous experience supporting:\nU.S. Army Combined Arms Center (CAC)\nTRADOC\nArmy Centers of Excellence\nArmy training proponents\nCATS development and sustainment\nARTEP/Mission Training Plans\nStandard METLs\nArmy training-readiness products\nTraining strategy and task-based training development\nIdeal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate is a seasoned Army leader who understands both the operational Army and institutional training environment.
