Please take a moment to browse through our website and learn more about what it means to serve with MKS2.\nData Warehouse Specialist \nThis position will support a project providing business case and business process analysis for a large government agency and will be responsible for developing and creating organization-wide data policies, standards, and processes and for oversight and strategy execution of the data governance and data quality framework.\nPay Rate: $60.09 per hour with full benefits during the initial six-month term. $130K upon conversion. \nWork Location: Hybrid - Employees must be on site in Arlington, VA two days per week. Normal hours M-F, 7am - 4pm. \nBasic Required Qualifications and Skills: Note: These are mandatory items that all candidates must have when submitting an application to IMC for this position. Must be able to obtain Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) regardless.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:This position will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:\nCreate reports/dashboards leveraging Power BI.\nPerform data cleansing and standardization (e.g., removing duplicates, sanitization), assessing data quality, and eliminating irrelevant data to identify and interpret data patterns and trends.\nPlan and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to modern databases.\nAssess data repositories for compliance with data governance policies and standards.\nCreate database queries using ANSI SQL or other programming languages.\nAnalyze data from various systems and formats and audit databases regularly to maintain data quality.\nEnsure data integrity and data standards within databases.\nProvide enterprise data solutions and enhance reporting capabilities.\nMaintain current databases and database objects.\nCoordinate with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines.\nIdentify areas for improvement in the current process.\nCollaborate and work with business users and IT partners to remediate identified gaps, using
