Please take a moment to browse through our website and learn more about what it means to serve with MKS2.\nLead Functional Support Analyst - Army Training Products\nProgram: CAC IDIQ - TMD Army Training\nLocation: Fort Leavenworth, KS\nOpenings: 1\nExperience Level: Senior\nClearance: Active Secret required\nPosition Type: Key Personnel\nPosition Summary\nMKS2 Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Functional Support Analyst to support the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center (CAC), Training Management Directorate (TMD), at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.\nThe Lead Functional Support Analyst will provide senior-level functional and technical leadership supporting the development, integration, sustainment, and quality assurance of Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS) and related Army training products.\nThis position requires significant Army operational and training experience along with demonstrated knowledge of the Army Training Management process, CATS development, and Army training-management systems. The successful candidate will work closely with Government leadership, Army proponents, Centers of Excellence, operational organizations, and contractor analysts to ensure training products remain aligned with Army requirements and operational readiness objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the lead functional and technical resource supporting Army training-product development and sustainment.\nProvide leadership and subject matter expertise for the development, review, revision, integration, validation, and quality control of CATS and associated Army training products.\nApply Army Training Management principles and processes to the development of effective unit training strategies.\nMonitor CATS development and sustainment activities.\nCoordinate training requirements across Army proponents, schools, Centers of Excellence, operational organizations, and other stakeholders.\nProvide CATS subject matter expertise in support of Unit Training Management activities.\nAnalyze Army doctrine, policies, force-structure changes, training-management initiatives, and emerging requirements for impacts to existing training products.\nSupport the integration of ARTEP, Mission Training Plans, Standard METLs, training events, task-selection requirements, and readiness requirements into Army training products.\nProvide functional and technical recommendations supporting improvements to Army training-development and training-management capabilities.\nConduct and oversee CATS quality reviews in accordance with applicable Army and TRADOC standards.\nCoordinate with Senior Analysts and functional SMEs to resolve training-product issues and maintain consistency and quality across deliverables.\nParticipate in technical reviews, working groups, In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), conferences, meetings, and Government briefings.\nDevelop and review technical recommendations, briefings, information papers, reports, and other Army training documentation.\nEnsure assigned products and deliverables are accurate, complete, timely, and aligned with Government requirements.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive Secret security clearance at the time of response.\nMust have achieved the military rank of: Major (O-4), or\n Master Sergeant (E-8)\n\nBranch-qualified Army experience.\nBachelor’s degree in any field OR graduate of military professional education equivalent to:Command and General Staff College\nSergeant Majors Academy\nApplicable Army specialty course\n\n5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Military planning\nTraining\nOperations\nLogistics\nIntelligence\nForce design/development\nCapability development\nTraining development\n\nPrevious experience serving on a Battalion- or Brigade-level staff in an operations position.\nDemonstrated knowledge of the Army Training Management process.\nWorking knowledge of Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS) development in accordance with TRADOC Pamphlet 350-70-1.\nWorking knowledge of: Digital Training Management System (DTMS)\nATMS Development Tool\n Army Training Network (ATN)\n\nAbility to analyze Army training requirements and provide technical and functional recommendations.\nStrong written, verbal, briefing, and technical communication skills.\nDemonstrated leadership skills and ability to coordinate effectively with military, Government, contractor personnel, analysts, and SMEs.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience or working knowledge in the following areas is highly desirable:\nArmy Training and Evaluation Program (ARTEP)\nMission Training Plans (MTPs)\nStandard Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs)\nFront End Analysis (FEA)\nUnit Task Lists (UTLs)\nTraining and Evaluation Outlines (T&EOs)\nTraining Event Models\nArmy training readiness\nTask-based training strategy development\nFM 7-0\nAR 350-1\nTRADOC Regulation 350-70\nTRADOC Pamphlet 350-70-1\nPrevious support to TRADOC, CAC, FORSCOM, Army Centers of Excellence, or Army training proponents\nIdeal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate is a seasoned Army leader with a combination of Battalion/Brigade operational experience and Army training-management expertise.
