Material Coordinator

Description

Makwa Global is hiring a Material Coordinato r to serve as the logistical nerve center for our operations at NUWCDIVNPT. You will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between receiving docks, storage bins, and end-user departments. This role is highly systems-focused, requiring a sharp eye for data accuracy within the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the routing of incoming materials, verifying Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) such as DD Form 1348-1A to ensure 100% FIAR compliance.
• Accurately input Goods Receipts (GR) and Material Expenditures into Navy ERP within strict 24-to-72-hour turn-around metrics.
• Track high-priority (Priority 01-03) materials and coordinate immediate dock-to-desk deliveries.
• Review production schedules and customer requests to determine material requirements and availability.
• Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation for classified, hazardous, and serial-number tracked assets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating materials, production control, or expediting within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer proficiency, specifically with data entry in complex ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD CAC/Security Clearance.
