You will be the first line of defense for quality control on incoming freight and the final check for materials being shipped out to naval detachments worldwide.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities:\nReceive incoming freight, perform physical \"kick-and-count\" inspections, and verify part numbers, quantities, and condition codes against shipping manifests.\nRoute and process materials utilizing the One Supply Process (OSP) suite of tools.\nPerform Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) and Preservation, Packaging, Packing, and Marking (PPP&M) duties in accordance with MIL-STD-2073.\nKit and assemble materials for shipment, ensuring hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and sensitive items are packaged to military specifications.\nGenerate and affix proper shipping labels, bar codes, and RFID tags.\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.\n1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or mailroom operations.\nExperience with packaging and kitting (DoD PPP&M experience is a major plus).\nDetail-oriented with the ability to spot discrepancies on shipping manifests.\nAbility to safely lift up to 50 lbs.\nU.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD CAC/Security Clearance.\nCompensation: Competitive hourly rate + Health & Welfare Fringe Benefits + Complete Benefits Package.
