Reporting to the Vice President, Total Rewards, the role will analyze compensation and workforce data, conduct market reviews, support program design and administration, develop actionable recommendations, and partner with HR and business stakeholders to advance competitive and effective Total Rewards programs.\nResponsibilities\nGeneral Compensation\nAdminister and enhance compensation and recognition programs, including job evaluation, leveling and grading within the Company’s compensation framework, salary structures, compensation planning, incentives, and communications.\nConduct market pricing and compensation survey participation activities, including benchmark job matching, data submission, analysis, validation, and interpretation of results.\nDevelop data-supported recommendations for offers, promotions, transfers, market adjustments, retention actions, and organizational changes, considering internal equity, market competitiveness, and business needs.\nAnalyze compensation outcomes and market trends to identify pay compression, equity concerns, competitive gaps, and opportunities to strengthen programs and structures.\nPartner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to support compensation decisions, annual cycles, budgeting, modeling, and related initiatives.\nTotal Rewards & Benefits\nDevelop dashboards, reports, models, and executive-ready insights across compensation, recognition, benefits, wellness, and relevant workforce metrics.\nProvide analytical and project support for benefits and wellness programs, including participation, utilization, cost trends, plan performance, renewals, enrollment, and vendor reporting.\nLeverage HR technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, workflows, data quality, and operational efficiency while protecting confidential information and validating outputs.\nMaintain accurate Total Rewards data, support audits and compliance activities, and collaborate with internal and external partners on program delivery and continuous improvement.\nSupport other Total Rewards initiatives and special projects as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.\n5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, Total Rewards, Human Resources, analytics, or a related field required.\nExperience supporting compensation or broader Total Rewards programs through analysis, program administration, reporting, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration.\nDemonstrated ability to independently manage recurring processes and projects, develop recommendations, and support HR and business decision-making in a complex environment.\nRequired Skills\nWorking knowledge of compensation and Total Rewards principles and practices.\nStrong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate actionable insights.\nExperience with HRIS, dashboard, and reporting tools\nStrong organizational and project-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nStrong written, verbal, consulting, and presentation skills.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work.\nProficiency using AI-enabled productivity and analytical tools for responsible operational improvement and decision support.\nAbility to handle highly sensitive employee, compensation, and organizational information with discretion and sound judgment.\nHigh-level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.\nDemonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.\nDesired Skills\nCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from World at Work, or another relevant professional certification, preferred.\nExperience with Workday Compensation or other HRIS and Total Rewards platforms preferred.\nExperience supporting salary structures, recognition, benefits, wellness, incentive programs, or related Total Rewards initiatives preferred.\nExperience with major compensation survey providers and market-pricing platforms preferred.\nSpanish-language proficiency is a plus.\nTotal Rewards\nMajor League Soccer offers a competitive starting base salary of $80,000 - $88,500, based on individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
