MN8 is headquartered in New York with offices in Texas, Florida and Madrid.\nPosition Summary\nThe Accounting Analyst will support day-to-day corporate accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, revenue and lease accounting, and financial reporting. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting process improvements and operational efficiency.\nAs the EV Accounting Analyst, you will:\nPrepare and post journal entries for cash, prepaids, accruals, intercompany transactions, revenue, lease accounting, and other general ledger activities.\n\nPerform monthly account reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items.\n\nAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.\n\nMaintain supporting schedules for prepaid expenses, accruals, revenue, leases, intercompany accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.\n\nFacilitate customer billing activities and ensure invoices are prepared accurately and timely.\n\nAssist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.\n\nSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing requested documentation.\n\nEnsure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.\n\nParticipate in process improvements, system implementations, and special projects as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in accounting\n\n2-3 years of corporate accounting experience.\n\nExperience with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience is a plus.\n\nCPA license or active CPA candidate preferred.\n\nOur ideal candidate will have:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\n\nProactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and continuously develop.\n\nDemonstrates curiosity and critical thinking by connecting concepts and applying lessons learned to future situations.\n\nStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and remain flexible in a dynamic and evolving business environment.\n\nContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing processes, controls, and efficiency.\n\nDemonstrates ownership, accountability, and a strong work ethic.\n\nTeam-oriented, low ego, and collaborative, with a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and support others.\n\nHow we set you up for success:\nAt MN8, we know our most valuable resource is our people.
