MN8 is headquartered in New York with offices in Boca Raton, Florida and Madrid.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Control Room supervisor primary responsibility is to lead a team of operators ensuring safe and efficient operations of MN8 Solutions 24×7 Remote Operation Center and its renewable fleet across the country. This includes monitoring and operational support via SCADA and managing the CMMS systems. Establish processes and procedures to ensure proper and safe operations. Additionally, the Control Room Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all NERC regulations and requirements are met. All remote operations will be performed from the Dallas, TX Office.\nAs the Control room supervisor, you will:\nMonitoring and operating sites as directed by procedures and Operational Directives.\n\nDirect control room operations and fill-in as an operator as required.\n\nOversee and provide training to Control Room Operator 1, 2, and 3 on solar and CMMS operations.\n\nProvide on-call support to the control room operators as necessary.\n\nUtilize provided information to make decision with financial impact to the company.\n\nInteracting with Field personnel, Grid Operators, and our customers.\n\nEnsure all identified site issues have a corresponding, properly documented ticket within the CMMS.\n\nReview and ensure Logging of regulatory calls, resets and all other items not handled by the CMMS system.\n\nInvestigate, escalate, and coordinate identified issues between Site, Engineering, and Asset Management.\n\nEnsure operation and maintenance activities meet or exceed contractual obligations.\n\nAny other duties and responsibilities as determined by the manager.\n\nOur ideal candidate will have:\n5+ years combined experience in:\n\nOperational knowledge of solar, storage, or EV charging.\n\nExperience as or communicating with Generator Operator, Scheduling Coordinator, or Transmission Operator.\n\nManaging and maintaining CMMS to include adding and maintaining equipment, opening, closing, and reviewing workorders.\n\n2-Year technical degree, Military experience in a technical field, or equivalent industry experience.\n\nExperience in SCADA systems, PLC, or plant control systems.\n\n3 + years’ experience in plant operations and control rooms.\n\nKnowledge of electrical theory.\n\nKnowledge and understanding of solar plant construction and comprehension of how onsite equipment interacts with the overall plant.\n\nAbility to communicate in English both orally and in writing.\n\nOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.\n\nExtensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include word, excel, OneNote, and outlook.\n\nAbility to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.\n\nAbility to make decisive decisions based on available information when support personnel are not available.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to drive a vehicle.\n\nAbility to sit or stand for long periods of time.\n\nAbility to walk distances up to 1 mile in a day.\n\nAbility to receive detailed information through oral and written communication, and to act upon as needed.\n\nRequired to have visual acuity which includes depth perception.\n\nRequired to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.\n\nOther Requirements:\nMay be required to travel.\n\nRequired to work in office conditions.\n\nRequired to perform all duties in-office.\n\nRequired to work 5X8 work week, may include holidays and weekends.\n\nWork in a fast-changing environment that may require quick decisions with limited processes and procedures.\n\nHow we set you up for success:\nAt MN8, we cultivate a culture of equity, through transparency and accessibility, where everyone thrives.
