Such evaluation will include work-streams such as:\nReview of 30%, 90%, As-built/IFC engineering drawings packages to Electrical, Civil, Structural,Communications.\n\nReviewing technical documentation (EPC Contract, equipment specifications, warranties,electrical and thermal studies, etc.) during due diligence and construction stage.\n\nReview critical project documentation including Geotech, ESA, Wetlands report andInterconnection Agreements, System Impact studies, hydrology report and corrosion reports\nduring project engineering cycle.\n\nReview and conduct Engineering calculations (NEC maximum system voltage, conductorsizing, overcurrent protection sizing, utility disconnect requirements, voltage drop, and\nconduit sizing).\n\nReview of Performance reports/operating data.\nReview of Equipment manuals and warranty information.\nPrepare value engineering and risk analysis in support of acquisition bids.\n\nSupport by directly performing or by managing consulting firms the Project Execution (PE) teamafter acquisition by coordinating design and engineering involving BESS in work-streams such as:\nPrepare value engineering and risk analysis.\nDirect and regularly interact with third party engineering provider or EPC and supervise thework from such resources in the development of IFC drawing sets.\n\nSupport technical RFI and Changer Order requests provide technical evaluations andfeedbacks.\n\nCoordinate with equipment vendors on all technical matters related to the key equipment fora given project.\n\nSupport commissioning of new built sites\n\nSupport by directly performing or by managing consulting firms the Asset Management (AM)team during operations phase by coordinating design and engineering involving BESS in workstreams such as:\nReview and opine on site repair request.\nReview and opine on incident events.\nEvaluate equipment replacement/repowering options.\nDirect and regularly interact with third party engineering provider supervise the work fromsuch resources in the development of repair/repower/replacement drawing sets.\n\nSupport technical troubleshooting.\n\nGather technical lessons learned from DD, PE and AM interaction and update/improve MN8Design Standards for Solar and BESS systems from time to time.\n\nTravel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineeringevaluations and electrical systems audits as needed.\n\nDevelop and maintain relationships with key suppliers of BESS equipment as well as regularlyevaluate their product pipeline.\n\nIdentify and evaluate technical enhancement opportunities working in conjunction with DD, PEand AM teams and other MN8 teams.\n\nSupport Project Management Office (PMO) team in the development and improvement oftechnical related processes\n\nOur ideal candidate will have:\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in BESS Engineering with excellent understanding of storageproject technical characteristics.\n\nEngineering/ BSc Degree required;
