If you’re ready to take your career into your own hands, you’ve come to the right place.\nResponsibilities\nFull-Stack Development\nDevelop and maintain responsive, scalable web applications using React on the front end and NextJSon the back end.Our services run on Microsoft Azure.\nBuild and maintain well-designed APIs and services that perform under real-world conditions.\nProvide the QA team guidance, enabling them to create and maintain automated testing for all our applications.\nWork across the stack, shifting focus to whichever area needs it most at the time.\nBuild and consume integrations with third-party and partner APIs.\nDebug, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis on issues across the stack.\nUse AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, automate repetitive work, and improve code quality, with the judgment to validate and own the output.\nQuality & Practices\nWrite testable, maintainable code and contribute to automated testing.\nApply secure development practices to help protect customer data.\nParticipate in design reviews and peer code reviews, and help keep technical documentation clear and current.\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering best practices within Azure DevOps.\nCollaboration & Adaptability\nCollaborate with the Product Manager, Product Owner, and engineers using Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams.\nContribute across different products and areas of the stack as priorities are planned and set.\nMaintain a willingness to work with new and emerging technologies beyond the core stack.\nBring a continuous improvement mindset, suggesting better ways to build and deliver.\nSkills and Experience\n5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience at production scale, ideally in a SaaS environment.\nStrong experience with React and a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nStrong back-end experience with NextJS, NodeJS, and the Azure ecosystem (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions). Experience with package management is an asset.\nSolid understanding of API design, RESTful services, and integration patterns.\nExperience integrating third-party APIs.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to aid in development, review code, write tests, and debug, with the judgment to validate and own the output.\nFamiliarity with secure development practices and version control (Git).\nExperience with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD, and collaboration is an asset.\nA growth mindset and a genuine willingness to work with new and emerging technologies.\nA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
