Mobileye’s products are also able to detect roadway markings such as lanes, road boundaries, barriers and similar items; identify and read traffic signs, directional signs and traffic lights; create a Mobileye Roadbook™ of localized drivable paths and visual landmarks using REM™; and provide mapping for autonomous driving.\nThe Position:\nMobileye China R&D Center is seeking a highly motivated AI Algorithm Engineer specialized in crowdsource mapping algorithm development to join our team. You will design and optimize algorithms that enable precise, scalable, and automated generation of high-definition maps for autonomous vehicles. Your work will focus on transforming raw sensor inputs into structured, machine-readable map representations. This role is critical to enabling real-time localization, path planning, and scene understanding in autonomous systems.\nWhat will your job look like:\nDevelop and refine algorithms for detecting and modeling map features (e.g., geometry, semantic, etc.) from multi-modal sensor data.\nImplement spatial reasoning and topological mapping techniques to structure HD map layers.\nCreate scalable pipelines for map data creation, optimization, and map updates using AI/ML models and traditional geometric approaches.\nWork on large-scale datasets from autonomous driving fleets to build, validate, and improve algorithms.\nWrite clean, maintainable, testable code and conduct code reviews. Inspire others to be their best in daily job.\nAll you need is:\nPh.D. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.\nOutstanding coding skills and proficient in algorithms with Python, C/C++, etc.\nStrong product background and hands on experiences in building product-quality computer vision, deep learning and general AI technologies.
