It supports established and emerging data products, helping move new capabilities into reliable production while improving the automation, quality and resilience of existing data processes.\n\nThis is an associate-level role working under the direction of experienced Data Engineers. It requires strong technical foundations, attention to detail and a willingness to learn the systems, datasets and products supported by the team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProduction and BAU Support\n\nSupport recurring production runs and BAU data processes.\nMonitor scheduled workflows and pipelines.\nInvestigate data-processing failures and operational issues.\nSupport timely resolution of production incidents.\nMaintain clear operational documentation and runbooks.\n\nData Pipelines\n\nBuild and maintain data ingestion, transformation and processing workflows.\nSupport restructuring and transformation across interconnected datasets.\nMake controlled improvements to existing pipelines.\nHelp move manual processes into automated, repeatable workflows.\nWork with senior engineers on larger architecture or platform changes.\n\nData Quality and Controls\n\nDevelop and maintain automated data-quality checks.\nValidate data at key stages of production pipelines.\nInvestigate unexpected results and identify root causes.\nWork with analysts, researchers and operational teams to resolve issues.\nImprove visibility of recurring data-quality problems.\n\nProduct and Project Support\n\nSupport live Mobility data products and emerging capabilities.\nSupport the development and operation of data products that process large, interconnected automotive datasets.\nHelp move new capabilities from development into reliable production operations.\nAssist with testing, deployment and operational readiness.\nWork with Product, Research, Data Science and Technology teams.\n\nAutomation and Improvement\n\nIdentify repetitive operational tasks suitable for automation.\nDevelop scripts and lightweight tools to reduce manual effort.\nUse AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to accelerate development, testing and documentation.\nContribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and working practices.\n\nEssential\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n1-3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, software engineering or a related data-intensive technical role.
