# Mid-Level Data Engineer

Mod Op is hiring a Mid-Level Data Engineer to build and operate Google Cloud Platform data pipelines and analytics, primarily for telecommunications data. The role produces reliable datasets for marketing and analytics teams and collaborates with senior engineers and marketing domain leads. Responsibilities Build and maintain batch and scheduled data pipelines on GCP, moving data into BigQuery Write and optimize SQL for transformations, reporting datasets, and validation checks Write Python for data ingestion, automation, and data quality checks Support data migrations, including validating migrated data against the source system Work with telecommunications data, such as customer, product, and campaign records, and document how it is defined and used Connect pipeline outputs to marketing platforms, such as Salesforce, Adobe, and AJO Troubleshoot failed jobs and data issues, and keep runbooks up to date Contribute to team training and capstone projects on marketing domain knowledge Skills 3 to 5 years of data engineering or analytics experience Working knowledge of GCP, especially BigQuery Strong SQL skills, including joins, window functions, and performance tuning Working Python
