Do the right thing, every time.\nJob Summary: A Field Service Technician provides service and customer support during assignments in the field. This position will manage all onsite repairs, maintenance and installation for our vehicles. This position must have the technical skills to diagnose errors and problems and determine the appropriate solution. The position requires experience in one or more of the following designations: Automobile (A 1-9), Medium/Heavy Truck (T 1-8), School Bus (S 1-7), and Transit Bus (H 1-8). It requires a minimum of four years’ experience in an automotive service facility and personal tools. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with passenger and air brake endorsement. service.\nGuaranteed 40 Hours per week - Hourly -- not flat rate.\nQualifications\nResponsibilities\nBelow is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:\nProvide service and customer support during on-site visits.\nDiagnose, test, and repair vehicles utilizing computerized diagnostics equipment.\nPerform inspections and repairs using established procedures.\nPerform light and medium duty repairs in the following areas:Heating and air conditioning, electrical and electronic systems and brakes\nManual drivetrain, axels, suspension and steering\nAutomotive Transmission / Transaxles\nEngine Repair\n\nPerform light duty engine performance repair as well as diesel engines repairs.\nPrepare and submit work orders in a timely manner to assigned location.\nEvaluate products accurately for maintenance, warranty, upgrades and other purposes.\nCollaborate closely with management to resolve technical issues.\nUnderstand customer requirements and accordingly recommend the right products or services.\nManage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance works within the assigned territory and conduct customer training when required.\nUnderstand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnoses.\nProvide training to customers about product usage and maintenance.\nRespond to customer complaints timely and effectively.\nMust achieve and maintain an efficiency level of eighty five percent.\nSafely operate all shop equipment.\nTake direction, keep a positive attitude, and perform high quality work.\nMaintain and protect company owned property.\nFollow Company safety protocol at all times and keep work area cleaned.\nSubmit complete and accurate time sheets on a weekly basis to
