Using Model ML, you'll simply talk to your laptop or phone to get things done.\nJob Description:\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud systems as we scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building robust, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure that empowers engineering teams to deliver quickly without sacrificing reliability or compliance.\nYou will be the driving force behind our DevOps, observability, and compliance readiness, ensuring our systems are audit-ready, highly available, and optimized for both performance and cost.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support rapid product growth.\nPrepare infrastructure for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audits, aligning with customer expectations.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and data services to enable rapid, reliable releases.\nDrive product-wide systems for logging, metrics, tracing, alerting and on-call processes.\nMonitor and control cloud costs, identifying opportunities for optimization without sacrificing performance.\nAct as the internal advocate for operational excellence.\nWhat you can expect:\nIt won't be easy; in fact, it will be very hard.\nBUT, it will be a lot of fun.\nYou need to be comfortable in being uncomfortable; timelines will change, priorities will most likely shift\nBe prepared to sacrifice your work-life balance in exchange for joining an incredible journey and learning a lot along the way.\nRequirements:\nTechnical:Technical stack: Azure (also AWS is a plus), Terraform, AKS (Kubernetes), Docker, Github actions.\nObservability: Experience implementing logging, metrics, and tracing frameworks.\n\nSecurity: Familiarity with best practices, secrets management, and security scanning tools.\n\nNetworking: Solid understanding of VPCs, private networking, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.\n\nDatabases & Storage: Experience with provisioning, scaling, and managing production-grade databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL) and blob storage.\n\nScripting & Automation: Strong skills in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.\n\nExperience4-7 years of relevant experience, ideally including startup or high-growth/high load environments.\nProven track record of owning infrastructure end-to-end - from architecture through production support.\nExperience implementing reliability, security, and compliance measures ahead of scale-up or audit readiness.\nHistory of driving cost efficiency while enabling growth.\nExposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR compliance processes.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nYou will be reporting directly to the founders, who have two successful venture-backed exits under their belt.\nCompetitive salary + equity\nSupportive and innovative work environment.\nTo conclude, we're building a team of like-minded, incredibly smart, tenacious individuals with relentless work ethic and focus, all driving towards our very clear revolutionary mission.
