You will direct and prompt AI agents for implementation, testing, and docs - but you are the pilot who understands, explains, and rigorously validates every line before it merges.\n\nTake ownership of parts of the product or specific features throughout the full lifecycle, from conceptualisation to delivery and monitoring.\n\nUnderstand and address complex customer needs to make international money transfers cheaper and faster.\n\nGrowth and Development:\nAt Wise, we believe in continuous learning, which is why we support you with a structured 9-month milestone framework:\nWiseStart Engineering Bootcamp during your first two weeks - an immersive and interactive introduction to the engineering tools and terminology we use at Wise, designed to bridge the gap between university and working in a live production environment\n\nEngineering Academy - a 9 months programme of essential technical topics for engineering graduates. Topics are selected and delivered by our engineering community on a bi-monthly basis\n\nMentorship/ buddy programme - you will have a buddy assigned to you to give you as much possible connection with people who know what you’re going through!\n\nQualifications\nWhat You'll Bring:\nYou have or are graduating in 2026 or 2027 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, in Computer Science or any other STEM subject. However, a degree in a technical field is not a must as our selection process prioritises your skills and potential.\n\nReady to start a full-time role in September 2027.\n\nKnowledge of computer science fundamentals and any major programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, or Swift).\n\nEagerness to configure and use AI development tools daily, with the ability to explain any AI-generated code you submit.\n\nA strong commitment to best coding practices, eager to both receive and actively contribute constructive comments to your peers' code reviews.\n\nAdditional Information\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here?\nYou will have flexibility in how and where you work.
