For everyone, everywhere.\nMore about our mission.\nTHE ROLE\nWe are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Internal Audit branch of the Compliance & Internal Audit Analytics team at Wise.\nYou’ll partner with Internal Audit (IA) to develop and implement the analytics strategy across the function.\nInternal Audit serves as an independent 3rd line of defence that oversees and provides an independent assessment and reasonable assurance on the effectiveness of the company’s corporate governance structure + internal controls.\nThe IA Analytics team supports IA by using analytics to provide more coverage, efficiency and accuracy to audit testing, as well as building innovative tools and using automation to support continuous testing and other IA activities beyond the annual audit plan.\nThis is an IC2 role. For more information on our Analytics Career Map and levelling structure, click here.\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING\nPartnering with stakeholders across the IA function covering all regions, products and domains of the business (including Financial Crime, Ops, Risk, Finance and Technology). You will have a specific focus on APAC focused audits and working with the APAC regional team.\n\nIdentifying & implementing opportunities to do the most impactful analytics within audits and influencing and upskilling your partners in IA to do the same\n\nWorking with analytics, engineering, and business specialists to seek out and understand interesting and varied datasets, perform analytics using modern approaches, and develop a strong understanding of operations at Wise.\n\nChampioning innovation and data-led insights, not just within audits but across all IA activities where analytics can add value\n\nWorking on automation and tooling projects to increase efficiency across IA including workflow automation, continuous auditing, leveraging AI, and building MI dashboards.\n\nQualifications\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\n3+ years of experience in data analytics\n\n1+ years of data analytics experience within an audit, risk, or compliance related role\n\nExperience of working in fintech or broader financial services industries\n\nAdvanced stakeholder management skills; you know how to leverage multiple different teams to deliver high-impact change including analytics, engineering, and business specialists\n\nExtensive experience using SQL; you can build and maintain complex data sources and can leverage visualisation tools to surface insights\n\nNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL\nExperience using dbt, Superset, and / or Lightdash\n\nKnowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including the use of Python and visualisation techniques.\n\nAdditional Information\nFor everyone, everywhere.
