Full speed.\nWhether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.\nAs part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.\nFor everyone, everywhere.\nMore about our mission and what we offer.\nJob Description\nWe are looking for a Senior Analytics Manager to lead the EMEA Compliance Analytics branch of the Compliance & Internal Audit Analytics team at Wise.\nYou’ll partner with 2nd line Compliance in Europe, the UK and MEA to ensure they can execute against the Compliance regulatory reporting schedule, as well as leveraging data to proactively monitor risks. You’ll lead a team of 3-4 analysts, so your time will be split between hands-on work (40%) and leadership responsibilities (60%).\nThe Compliance Analytics team supports Compliance by using analytics to provide more coverage, efficiency and accuracy to testing and monitoring, as well as building innovative tools and using automation to support regulatory reporting and other Compliance activities.\nThis is an AL2 role. For more information on our Analytics Career Map and levelling structure, click here.\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING\nPartnering with stakeholders across the Compliance function covering all regions, products and domains of the business (including Financial Crime, Ops, Risk, Finance and IT)\n\nTaking ownership of the engagement model between analytics and Compliance for delivering regulatory reporting and moving towards building automated pipelines for recurring reports\n\nIdentifying & implementing opportunities to do the most impactful analytics within testing projects and influencing and upskilling your partners in Compliance to do the same\n\nDefining and tracking KPIs to measure the team’s success and impact\n\nChampioning innovation and data-driven insights across all Compliance activities where analytics can add value\n\nLeading automation and tooling projects to increase efficiency across Compliance\n\nQualifications\nSkills & Experience:\n5+ years of experience in data analytics\n\n2+ years of experience building, coaching and leading analysts\n\nAdvanced stakeholder management skills; you know how to leverage multiple different teams to deliver high-impact change\n\nExtensive experience using SQL; you can build and maintain complex data sources and can leverage visualisation tools (Looker, Superset, etc) to surface insights\n\nYou have built reporting outputs, creating advanced SQL scripts based on requirements communicated by stakeholders\n\nExperience using data engineering tools (GitHub, dbt, Airflow etc.) to transform messy data into clean and efficient pipelines and you know how to produce comprehensive data documentation\n\nYou understand the importance of data integrity, quality & governance. You know how to produce comprehensive data documentation\n\nYou are able to prioritise your own and your team’s work and independently manage competing priorities\n\nYou can contribute your own ideas to influence the team’s strategic roadmap\n\nNice to have:\nExperience in Compliance analytics testing or Internal Audit analytics\n\nExperience using dbt\n\nKnowledge of Python\n\nExperience in regulatory reporting and monitoring controls or controls assurance\n\nExperience using AI tools\n\nAdditional Information\nFor everyone, everywhere.
