This role is responsible for overseeing Line Service and Customer Service operations, driving operational excellence, fostering employee engagement, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring coordination between departments to achieve exceptional customer experiences and business performance.\nOperational Leadership & Service Excellence\nAssist in the overall management of FBO operations, including Line Service and Customer Service functions.\nDirectly supervise Line Supervisors and Customer Service Supervisors and provide indirect leadership to operational team members.\nEnsure service delivery standards are consistently achieved and provide service recovery when necessary.\nLead shift briefings and departmental meetings to communicate operational priorities and expectations.\nAlign staffing schedules with customer demand to maintain service levels and operational efficiency.\nCorrespond with customers regarding tenant relations, transient business opportunities, and service related matters.\nMeet, greet, and assist customers with travel coordination, including hotel accommodations, ground transportation, catering, and other service requests.\nServe as a liaison between the FBO and airport stakeholders to maintain positive community and business relationships.\nTeam Leadership & Talent Development\nSupport the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of team members.\nEnsure employees receive appropriate training and maintain required training documentation.\nConduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, counseling, recognition, and corrective action as appropriate.\nFoster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment that promotes employee development and retention.\nCreate communication channels that encourage collaboration between departments and leadership teams.\nSafety, Security & Regulatory Compliance\nPromote and maintain a culture of safety through routine observations, safety meetings, audits, training programs, and documented procedures.\nEnsure compliance with all company policies, standard operating procedures, safety protocols, security requirements, and customer service standards.\nInitiate and coordinate emergency response procedures as required.\nDevelop and maintain procedures for aircraft incidents, fires, weather events, and other emergencies.\nConduct accident and incident investigations, determine root causes, and complete required reporting.\nManage OSHA 300 reporting requirements and documentation.\nUtilize the company Safety Management System (SMS) to support safety reporting and continuous improvement.\nResource & Facilities Management\nEnsure departments maintain adequate staffing, equipment, supplies, and inventory to support safe and efficient operations.\nOversee ground support equipment (GSE) and facility maintenance activities.\nManage relationships with vendors and service providers to support operational needs.\nMonitor fuel quality control programs and ensure compliance with applicable standards.\nAdministrative & Business Support\nSupport site practices and procedures that contribute to profitability, operational consistency, and employee satisfaction.\nAssist with workforce administration activities, including time and attendance processes and new hire documentation.\nPartner with the General Manager to achieve financial, operational, and customer service objectives.\nPerform additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nFive (5) to ten (10) years of progressive FBO, aviation operations, or related management experience.\nValid driver’s license\nAbility to lead multiple teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment.\nGeneral knowledge of business management principles and financial operations preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications preferred.\nNATA or industry related certifications preferred.\nDemonstrated leadership experience in ramp and aviation operations preferred.\nStrong employee coaching, development, and performance management capabilities preferred.\nWorking conditions and physical demands for this role\nWork is performed in both office and outdoor airport environments. \nRegular exposure to varying weather conditions, aircraft noise, moving equipment, fuel operations, and active airfield environments. \nAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. \nMust be able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency response situations as business needs require. \nMust be capable of safely operating motorized vehicles and ground support equipment in accordance with company policies.\nNote: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job.
