This role focuses on building resilient, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.\nHere’s What You’ll Do\nCompute & Virtualization Infrastructure\nManage virtualization platforms (VMware, Red Hat, Nutanix).\nManage Cisco UCS and Dell server platforms.\nManage and enhance enterprise container platforms, such as Red Hat OpenShift, enabling containerized workloads, platform automation, monitoring, and lifecycle management while ensuring security, scalability, and performance.\nProvision, monitor, and maintain virtual machines across on-prem and cloud environments.\nApply patches and security updates; ensure platform reliability and performance.\nAutomate patching and system updates using configuration management tools such as Anisible.\nCollaborate with senior engineers and application teams.\nMonitoring & Configuration Management\nOperate monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Aria Operations, SaltStack, Ansible).\nImplement automated configuration and deployment using agent-based or agentless tools.\nStorage & Backup Administration\nAdminister enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage, NetApp, Dell EMC, or similar).\nPerform capacity planning, performance tuning, and routine storage management.\nSupport hybrid backup strategies using tools like Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik or similar.\nMaintain SAN technologies including zoning and connectivity (e.g., Brocade, Cisco MDS, or similar).\nLinux & Automation\nPerform patching and configuration on Linux-based systems.\nAutomate updates and compliance tasks using Ansible, SaltStack, or equivalent.\nDevelop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, YAML, or JSON.\nHybrid Cloud Integration\nSupport integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nManage cloud resources via portals and CLI tools.\nIncident Response & Operational Support\nServe as an escalation point for infrastructure incidents.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.\nDocument SOPs, operational runbooks, and recovery procedures.\nParticipate in a global 24/7 on-call rotation.\nHere’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Basic Qualifications)\n4-6 years of experience in systems engineering focused on compute, virtualization, and storage.\nProficiency with virtualization platforms and automation tools.\nExperience in Linux patching and configuration.\nFamiliarity with backup, recovery, and monitoring systems.\nFamiliarity with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nStrong scripting and communication skills.\nHere’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)\nExperience in regulated environments (e.g., GxP) or willingness to learn compliance frameworks.\nDeep knowledge of storage architectures, SAN zoning, and performance optimization.\nIndustry certifications (e.g., virtualization, cloud, backup, storage solutions).\nInterest in or ability to grow into AI infrastructure support (e.g., SQL, APIs).\nOur Working Model\nAs we build our company, we have always believed an in-person culture is critical to our success.
