You thrive in environments that freely exchange ideas and viewpoints.\n\nYou are an innovator that believes in making a difference and having fun doing it.\n\nWhat you'll do\nDevelop and maintain data pipelines while achieving high reliability and efficiency.\n\nHelp guide data infrastructure design and develop proof of concepts for recommended solutions.\n\nLiaison with engineering and product to help the Research team develop new data-products.\n\nMaintain documentation for the Data Warehouse and other data products.\n\nDesign, develop, QA and maintain code related to data engineering.\n\nProvide thought-leadership and dependable execution on diverse projects.\n\nWhat you'll bring\nMasters in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.\n\nMinimum 5 years experience in a data engineering capacity.\n\nStrong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.\n\nDeep understanding and prior experience with Spark.\n\nExtensive knowledge and experience in Object-Oriented python.\n\nUnderstanding of data warehouse table design, star schemas, etc.\n\nPrevious experience architecting and building data pipelines from 1st party and 3rd party data sources.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership.\n\nStrong commitment to quality, architecture, and documentation.\n\nExperience using AWS cloud services (S3, Athena, EMR, Kinesis).\n\nExperience with data pipeline technologies a plus (Airflow, Luigi).\n\nExperience with Talend ETL or similar a plus.\n\nExperience with business intelligence tools a plus (Tableau, Qlik).\n\nExperience with Databricks a plus.\n\nModMed Benefits Highlight: At ModMed, we believe it’s important to offer a competitive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our growing workforce.
