This role provides an excellent opportunity to lead the development and delivery of reliable, performant, and scalable integration services, and evolve Modmed's API Ecosystem.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain software systems in the area of ownership and ensure that they meet business objectives.\n\nEnsure deliverables meet the functional and non-functional criteria, and drive changes proactively where outcomes are misaligned.\n\nAlign development efforts with business objectives by collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional team members across geos.\n\nIdentify and implement best practices for efficient operational processes or technical solutions that elevate the team's performance\n\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement by guiding other engineers through design, code, and operational reviews.\n\nProviding coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.\n\nSkills & Requirements:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.\n\n8+ years of software development experience, preferably in a technical leadership role.\n\nExceptional programming skills, encompassing Java, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful services.\n\nExperience with public cloud services, preferably AWS.\n\nFull stack (backend, frontend, operations) experience is a plus.\n\nAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively across functional lines, and cross geo teams.\n\nHealthcare Interoperability experience (HL7, FHIR) is advantageous.\n\nModMed Benefits Highlight: At ModMed, we believe it’s important to offer a competitive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our growing workforce.
