innovation.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are looking for an experienced Data Migration Specialist to support data migration, integration, validation, and database-related activities across business-critical systems\nThe role is well suited for a strong database professional with hands-on experience in SQL, data modelling, data quality, and migration of data between legacy and target systems\nWhat You’ll Do\nAnalyse source and target data structures and identify migration requirements\n\nPerform data profiling and assess source data quality\n\nDefine and maintain source-to-target data mappings and transformation rules\n\nDevelop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes\n\nDevelop SQL queries and migration scripts required for data conversion and reconciliation\n\nExecute data cleansing, normalization, transformation, and enrichment activities where required\n\nPerform migration validation and reconciliation, including record counts, control totals, referential-integrity checks, and business-rule validation\n\nIdentify data-quality issues and migration exceptions and coordinate their resolution with relevant teams\n\nSupport multiple migration cycles, including development migrations, mock migrations, dress rehearsals, production cutover, and post-migration validation\n\nTroubleshoot migration failures and perform root-cause analysis\n\nSupport migration performance analysis and optimization\n\nPrepare and maintain migration documentation, technical procedures, execution runbooks, reconciliation reports, and issue logs\n\nWork closely with business analysts, solution architects, developers, database administrators, QA teams, project managers, and customer stakeholders\n\nSupport production cutover activities and provide post-migration support when required\n\nContribute to continuous improvement and automation of migration processes\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of professional experience in data migration, ETL/ELT, data integration, database development, or a similar technical role\n\nStrong SQL knowledge and practical experience working with relational databases\n\nExperience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or equivalent\n\nHands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, loading, and reconciliation\n\nExperience performing source-to-target data mapping and implementing data-transformation rules\n\nGood understanding of relational database concepts, data models, primary and foreign keys, constraints, referential integrity, and transactions\n\nExperience with data-quality assessment, cleansing, validation, and exception handling\n\nAbility to analyze large datasets and identify inconsistencies or migration-related issues\n\nExperience developing or maintaining migration scripts using SQL and/or scripting languages such as Python or shell scripting\n\nExperience working with structured software-development, testing, release, and change-management processes\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nHigh level of attention to detail and focus on data accuracy and integrity\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills in English\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with ETL/integration tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Pentaho, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or similar\n\nExperience with high-volume or business-critical data migrations\n\nExperience with cloud-based databases or data platforms\n\nExperience automating migration execution and validation activities\n\nKnowledge of API-based or file-based data integration using formats such as CSV, XML, or JSON\n\nExperience with Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes\n\nExperience working on customer-facing implementation or transformation projects\n\nFamiliarity with
