The Director of Compliance is responsible for leading the company’s Ethics and Compliance Program and promoting a culture of ethical conduct and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company standards, and client contracts.
This role develops, implements, and maintains internal controls designed to manage organizational risk and strengthen the company’s compliance environment. The Director also oversees compliance education across multiple locations and develops consistent, scalable processes for identifying, detecting, preventing, and mitigating fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA), as well as managing third-party risk activities.

- Oversees the day-to-day Corporate Compliance Program in alignment with Federal Sentencing Guidelines and applicable state and industry requirements.
- Develops and maintains compliance policies, procedures, education programs, and tools that support organizational compliance.
- Creates and maintains compliance and audit tools designed to identify, prevent, and detect non-compliance.
- Partners with operational leaders to address compliance issues, implement corrective action plans, and ensure appropriate accountability.
- Develops remedial education and training programs to address identified compliance gaps.
- Identifies opportunities to create efficiencies and standardized processes across the Compliance Program.
- Promotes a culture of ethical conduct and compliant behavior throughout the organization.
- Establishes annual KPIs aligned with corporate goals and monitors overall performance.
- Leads and develops leaders through coaching, mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and career development.
- Leads change-management initiatives focused on improving processes, efficiency, and organizational performance.
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and leads discussions around compliance-related issues.
- Manages assigned budgets, monitors variances, and takes corrective action as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master of Accounting or MBA is a plus.
- Twelve (12) plus years experience in corporate compliance.
- Five (5) plus years leadership responsibility.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of corporate compliance, risk management, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Knowledge of IT controls, information security, COSO, and SOX 404 requirements.
- Experience with Audit Compliance and ERP systems (e.g. Workiva, Auditboard, Workday, Dynamics, GreatPlains, Blackline) a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with experience establishing objectives, developing teams, and driving results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office experience.
- ISO, Lean Six Sigma, CPA, CIA, or CISA certification is a plus.
Salary: $111,000-$140,000
This role is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
