You will manage and grow a team of engineers while providing technical leadership across SDK architecture, API integration, developer experience, release management, quality, and reliability. You will work closely with Product, API Platform, Developer Relations, Documentation, Support, Security, and Support Engineering teams to deliver a consistent and intuitive developer experience.\n\nRoles & Responsibilities:\n\nOwn the architecture, roadmap, and delivery of the iOS, Android and web SDKs, covering data collection, push, in-app messaging, and personalization.\nSet the direction for SDK design: API design, backward compatibility, binary size, battery and network efficiency, and low startup impact.\nPartner with Product, Backend, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to prioritize and deliver features.\nHire, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of mobile engineers and tech leads.\nSet clear goals, give regular feedback, and run performance reviews and career planning.\nCreate clear growth paths and develop future leaders within the team.\n\nMust Have:\n\n9-13 years of software engineering experience, including 1+ years managing engineering teams (Senior EM: experience leading multiple teams or managers).\nStrong experience in mobile SDK or platform development for iOS, Android, or both.\n\nGood to Have:\n\nExperience building SDKs for customer engagement, analytics, marketing automation, push notifications, messaging, or personalization platforms.\nExperience working with cross-platform technologies such as React Native, Flutter, or Unity.\n\nAt MoEngage, we respect and value differences.
